Upload a File

We covered Regulait's template and document editing infrastructure, and learned how to send documents to staff members for approval.

In situations where you already have your data or evidence saved in another format and prefer not to start anew from scratch, the File Upload option can come in handy.

Regulait's system can add images, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files, incorporating them into our document creation as a PDF, Subsequently, users can easily add data and attach interactive signature boxes, irrespective of the processing.

First, create a folder or a new document, click on the "+NEW" button located at the top of the page, then select Create Document (circled below).

the first step is to select 'create a Document'

We have two available options: either select the right option (indicated by the right arrow below) or drag a file directly onto it for addition.

select the right side's Upload File option

In the example below, I've chosen an Excel file for uploading.

Below, the uploaded file is visible by its name. Now, proceed by clicking next to create the document, incorporating the uploaded file into it.

seeing as our file was properly uploaded, by its name, we select 'Next'

And here's our newly created Document, an Excel file, in Regulait's Document system, with the option to add interactive signature boxes and fill boxes, and send it for approval through the Regulait infrastructure.

the Excel file is uploaded into the Document as a PDF

Here we can see our Document, ready to be sent for approval, filled and signed (see below).

after adding sign and fill boxes, our Document is ready to be sent
