Trigger (Schedule)

The first step of an Automation is the Trigger, the reason an Automation runs.

An Automation can run either manually or on a scheduled basis.

In the image below, we can see that the current Trigger mode is Manual.

Marked with an arrow, is the Trigger mode change button - click it to proceed.

Here we can select the Trigger mode, between Manual and Schedule.

After selecting schedule, we'll first decide the date the Automation starts on.

Click on the Date button (marked with an arrow below).

On this window we can select a Date for the Automation to start on.

Now we'll select the Repeat interval, the Automation automatically starts according to it.

Click on the Repeat button (marked with an arrow below).

Here we can select the Automation Repeat interval, using Hours, Days, Weeks, Months or Years.
