Document Status

On the All Documents page, each Document is marked with a Status.

Understanding the various statuses of a document is crucial for efficient workflow management.

  1. Draft: A document is in draft status when it's being authored or edited and is not yet ready for review or approval.

  2. Approval Pending: Once the document is drafted, it enters the approval stage. There, the document is sent to designated staff members for their review and approval. This is a critical step in the workflow to ensure content accuracy and compliance.

  3. Signing pending: After receiving approval from the assigned staff members, the document transitions to the signing stage. At this point, it is ready for the recipient's signature. The document is sent to the recipient for their acknowledgment and signature.

  4. Completed: The final status of a document, indicating that it has successfully undergone the draft, approval, and signing stages. A completed document signifies that all necessary steps in the workflow have been fulfilled, and the document is ready to be assigned to an evidence.
