Duties

Regulait module of Duties Segregation, RuleSets, and Conflicts allows to enhance security and minimize the risk of a single user having "too much power" through a concept known as Segregation of Duties (SOD).

In Applications, each user is assigned specific roles defining their permissions and responsibilities.

In the Duties tab (marked with an arrow below) we'll add Duties for different roles by clicking on the Create Duty button (circled below).

on the Duties list tab, the Create Duty button is circled below

On the New Duty window, We'll name the Duty based on a Role's duty in the Application.

Then we'll select the Duty's category, the Application it relates to, and Roles that can perform this Duty.

The Roles are existing Roles that we have created while creating new Accounts and giving them Roles.

Marked with a rectangle below, we can see that the available Roles are those we created a few guide chapters back.
